New Delhi: Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is organizing a week long program “Hardin Harghar Ayurveda” to promote Ayurveda, an area that is now recognized as a beneficial solution to emerging health problems. With the mission of “Health for All”, there is an increasing need to focus on preventive, rehabilitative and curative aspects of disease management.
This series of events, organized by DPSR UniversityContribution of Ayurveda in tackling the management of chronic lifestyle diseases and non-communicable diseases with special focus on the elderly.
In the coming week, DPSRU will distribute Ayurvedic medicinal plants and free Ayurvedic medicines to senior citizens, organize rallies for awareness about Ayurveda, visit old age homes, and listen to lectures by some experts from industry, academia and government. ,

The aim of the event was to make the student and the community learn about Ayurveda and especially for the elderly. Pro. (Dr.) P.K. Prajapati delivered the keynote address and shared the purpose of Ayurveda and its branches, emphasizing on geriatric medicineIt is one of the branches of Ashtanga Ayurveda. Pro. Prajapati suggested how to prevent or prevent various disorders associated with age and their treatment. Pro. (Dr.) Rabinarayan Acharya explained about Ayurveda and its related remedies on various systems of the body. He also highlighted the pharmacokinetic and scope of pharma students in pharmacodynamics Study of Ayurvedic Yogas.
The program started with the lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries. The program was continued by the Danavantri Vandana followed by the Vishwavidyalaya Kul-geet.
