Delhi University (DU) on Wednesday declared the list of vacant seats in colleges as part of its final phase of undergraduate admissions for the academic session 2022-23, according to news agency PTI.
So far, the university has filled 65,000 seats out of its total 70,000 seats in various colleges, Registrar Vikas Gupta said in an official statement. They said this would be the last and final round Undergraduate Admissions For some shortlisted colleges.
“Candidates who had applied for CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) – 2022 and have not taken admission in any college on the date of announcement of Special Spot Admission Round,” Gupta was quoted as saying by PTI.
The second special spot admission round was announced a few days after the conclusion of the first one. However, candidates who were offered a seat in any of the spot rounds will not be able to participate in the second special spot admission round.
“Upon declaration of this round, the admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admission,” he added.

In order to be considered for the round, candidates will have to opt for ‘Special Spot – II’ on the website dashboard. The application process, which started on Wednesday, will end on Thursday.
The university has announced that the admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the current academic session will end on Saturday.
DU’s admission process, which began on September 12, is being conducted in three phases – application process, preference filling and seat allotment-cum-admission.
This year, the university is admitting students through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) instead of their Class 12 scores.
