Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday said dynasty politics has no place in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes that party workers should be rewarded on the basis of their work and not family affiliations.

BJP spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi said that Scindia, who hails from the Scindia family, on Monday along with his wife Priyadarshini Raje and son Mahanaryaman offered prayers to the renovated bungalow allotted a few months ago.

Scindia’s bungalow shares the border with the official residence of former BJP chief minister Uma Bharti and is also close to Congress Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh’s residence.

Scindia said that the Prime Minister is a source of inspiration for BJP workers.

He said that with this inspiration he should work for the welfare of the people.

When asked about the meeting of Congress leaders in Gwalior-Chambal division, which is considered to be his stronghold, Scindia said, ‘I want to tell you that even at that time I was in Congress and now that I am in BJP, some people are itching. it occurs. , I am proceeding on my path which is the path of public service. It is the path of progress and development. They should keep their thoughts to themselves. I am attached to my people and it is my resolve to serve my God and he is my people.

Scindia also congratulated the newly appointed Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader and Leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Govind Singh.

Scindia joined the BJP in March 2020 after leaving the Congress. The then Kamal Nath government in MP fell due to his exit along with several Congress MLAs.
