Swara posted a cryptic tweet and it seems she likened ‘Eklavya being denied education’ to the hijab ban. The actress wrote, ‘Recalling the story of how Eklavya was denied education because of his identity..’ Her post went viral in no time and received a lot of criticism from netizens. Some tried to school her and wrote comments like, ‘Eklavya was the son of Devashrav who was the brother of Kunti and Vasudeva,’ ‘Eklavya was not wearing a hijab!! And Dronacharya was appointed for Hastinapur kingdom not for him.
