Elon Musk’s Reaction to the Throwback Video From the “Worst Year of His Life”

Elon Musk may be one of the richest man on earth today, but 13 years ago things were different. There was a time when he was broke and had to take loans from friends. In 2008, Mr. Musk invested all his money in his companies – Tesla and SpaceX. It was the same year the global economy crashed and Tesla was having a hard time, almost running out of cash. Mr. Musk said before 2008 He had the “worst year” of his life – Tesla was losing money. From those days a new video of Mr Musk has surfaced. A Twitter page called the Tesla Silicon Valley Club posted the video where Mr Musk explains the situation in an interview.

The tweet was captioned, “Elon Musk was discussing electric vehicles in 2008 as Tesla was almost out of cash.”

In the video, we see Mr Musk explaining the workings of his company in an interview. Talking about Tesla’s high-end Roadster and other luxury sports cars, he said, “The important thing here is that when you have new technology, it takes time to adapt to that technology.”

Mr Musk also spoke about how the company did not benefit from the dividend and that “every penny” went into the development of other technologies at the company. The video also shows Musk claiming that he only received “minimum pay” and that he “basically volunteered”. “The important point is that unless you start with the expensive cars, you can’t get to the low-cost cars.”

The video has got 2.6 million views so far. This caught Mr. Musk’s attention, and he replied, “Wow, 13 years ago.”

Dogecoin creator Shibetoshi Nakamoto commented on Mr Musk’s tweet. “13 years ago I was doing pretty good damage as a shadow priest in WoW, but I think you achieved more in that time,” Nakamoto wrote. Mr. Musk has repeatedly backed Dogecoin, a popular altcoin in the cryptocurrency world.

A user named Mr Whale commented, “So much achieved in such a short time, I can’t wait to see what the next decade looks like.”

Similarly, other users praised Mr. Musk’s journey with Tesla. One user commented, ‘What life have you lived so far! Imagine where you will be in 13 years.”

Another user praised his “vision” and “clarity”.

More praise filled the comments section. Another user wrote, “Salute to you for your unwavering dedication and contribution to this planet and beyond.”
