Delhi has always had many favourites, when it comes to food. These are the restaurants that are always on our radar and are one of our top picks when we think of indulging in some delicious food. One such famous eatery in Defense Colony is Amici Cafe which is quite popular among the locals. Recently, the cafe has launched a new menu, which has added a host of delectable dishes to its special offerings.
A quaint cafe located in the posh Defense Colony market, Amici has been on the radar of foodies ever since it opened. The interior is quite spacious and welcoming, with pale walls adorned with black frames and an open ceiling. Amici Cafe may have limited seating, but rest assured the quality of service is excellent.
we started our meal Lebanese Chicken, 5-spice grilled dish served with aioli, hummus, house-made pickles, pita bread and grilled tomatoes. It was quite spicy and different from our usual chicken starters. Meanwhile, the Alla Vodka Pasta Made with vodka and Roma tomatoes, it was quite funky and tasted sour. Drizzled with parmesan cheese, it was served with buttered garlic bread.

In the pizza section, we were spoiled for choice! The wood-fired, artisan pizzas with Neapolitan crust are one of Emici Cafe’s signature dishes and we definitely had to try one. After much deliberation, we chose Caprese Pizza Made with Italian tomatoes, bocconcini, pesto sauce and mozzarella cheese. The generous toppings and flour crust left us full and happy. At the end, cremino The dessert section was quite a treat but could have used a little more cream!
