Ensure victory of candidates for teachers and graduate constituencies in Uttar Pradesh next year: BJP | Lucknow News – Times of India

Lucknow: BJP The brass in the UP Legislative Council went into a tizzy to chalk out the election strategy for the two teachers and three graduate constituencies. Polling for these five seats is to be held in February next year.
The two seats in the teachers’ constituencies that will go to polls are Kanpur and Prayagraj-Jhansi region, while graduates’ constituencies are from Bareilly-Moradabad region, Gorakhpur-Faizabad region and Kanpur region.
BJP State Convener for Teachers’ Constituency Shrichandra Sharma called upon the party office bearers to ensure victory of party candidates in the upcoming elections.
Suresh Tripathi and the tenure of Raj Bahadur Singh Chandel Teachers’ constituency from Prayagraj-Jhansi region and Kanpur region will end on February 23, respectively. While Tripathi is from the non-political category. Chandel is an independent.
Similarly, in graduate constituencies, Devendra Pratap Singh of Gorakhpur-Faizabad region, Arun Pathak from Kanpur region and Jai Pal Snigh Vyas from Bareilly-Moradabad will also complete their term on February 23. All the three graduate seats are currently with the BJP. The House of 100 has a total of 73 members. At present there are 89 members in the UP Legislative Council.
