Actress Esha Gupta, in an exclusive interview with bollywood bubble, opened up about her experience with Casting Couch when a filmmaker and a producer had sexual relations with her while shooting a movie. Esha made her Bollywood debut with Kunal Deshmukh’s film Jannat 2, co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Randeep Hooda in 2012. The 35-year-old actress told Bollywood Bubble that she has faced casting couch twice – the first when a filmmaker asked her to have sex but she refused. Recalling her experience of casting couch, Esha Gupta told Bollywood Bubble: “Two people, they did this to me. One of them, well, I still did the film. Because it’s a little trick. I think he also hoped that an outdoor shoot, we’d be really good with him, then things might change. But I’m also really smart, I said I’m not going to sleep alone.”
“I used to put my makeup artist to sleep in the room with me. I said ‘oh I’m scared, I can’t sleep’. But, it’s not the ghost you’re afraid of, it’s the person. Because you never know when They… you don’t even want to be abusive. But the problem is they only do it to us, they won’t do it to the kids of the industry because there their parents will come and kill you. But for us, they thought she needed work. So I finally saw a really nasty side of the person I worked with because they got so vindictive when they realized ‘fuck she’s not going to do anything’. Because she’s the only one There is a film where my mother also went with me.”
Esha Gupta Said that when she denied his sexual advances, the filmmaker “became very vindictive, very negative with her.” She told the publication: “Usually, I would call my parents on an outdoor shoot, just in the middle but not the whole movie. So that person got very vindictive, very negative with me. I mean but that movie. The result was… Karma always happens. That was a bad experience.”

In the same interview, she said that during the shooting of a film, a producer wanted to kick her out of the film as he refused to have sex with her. “Then there was where, halfway through the film, the co-producer said to the film’s producer, ‘I don’t want him in the movie. Why is he there?’ This is a matter of 4-5 days after the start of the shooting. He said, ‘No she is my heroine.’ The producer came up to me and asked ‘Has this happened to this man?’ And I looked at her and laughed, “Yes sir,” said the actress and added: “There are people who don’t hire me because they say, ‘She’s not going to do anything, what’s the matter?’ But you realize that you forge your own path.”
