Google has started getting a big blow from the European Union. The company is accused of indulging in anti-competitive practices. Google’s parent company Alphabet could be fined up to 10 percent of its annual profit for this by taking the European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union. This is the fourth time Google has been accused by the 27-nation European Union of exercising monopoly over the market for buying and selling online advertising.
