Pune: Heavy rains lashed Pune city and adjoining areas on Sunday, causing water-logging at 25 places. An official gave this information.
He said incidents of tree felling took place at 10 places, though no injuries were reported.
India Meteorological Department Said at 5:30 pm, stone And Magarpatta received 55.8 mm and 55.5 mm of rain.
The official said that the IMD has issued an ‘Orange’ alert for heavy to very heavy rain in the ghat areas for the next two days.
“Chandannagar, Kothrud, Paud RoadPashan, Wanwadi, Bt Kavde Road, Katraj Garden, Swargate Spotted Water logging, Incidents of felling of trees have been reported from Pashan, Kondhwa, Pune station and Yerwada. Two vehicles got stuck due to falling of trees in Panchavati of Pashan. No one was injured in the incident,” said a fire brigade official.
