Prime Minister Narendra Modi Claiming on Saturday that the people of Himachal Pradesh have made up their mind to retain the BJP in power, asserting that fast progress and a stable government are necessary in the hill state.
“This time Himachal elections are special as the votes cast on November 12 are not only for the next five years,” he said. Every single vote on November 12 will define the development journey of the state for the next 25 years,” Modi said at an election rally in Sundernagar in Mandi district.
Mandi is the home district of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, who also addressed the rally.
“A few weeks ago, India Completed 75 years of independence. Closer to when India celebrates 100 years of its independence, HP will also complete 100 years of its formation. So, the next 25 years are going to be very important,” the Prime Minister said.
Emphasizing that it is necessary to achieve rapid progress and a stable government in Himachal Pradesh, Modi said, “I am glad that the people of Himachal, its youth, mothers and sisters understand this well.” Modi claimed that people knew the BJP stood for stability, gave top priority to “seva baav” (service), “sam-baav” (equality), and development.
Therefore, the people of Himachal Pradesh have decided to bring the BJP back to power.
