Conrad Meghalaya’s NPP emerging as the single largest party in Meghalaya

According to exit poll estimates, no party is getting majority. NPP is expected to get the maximum number of seats here. According to the exit polls of ‘Zee News-Matrix’, the NPP may get 21-26 seats in Meghalaya while the Congress is expected to get between 8 and 13 seats. The BJP can win the state on a range of 6-11 states, while the Congress is projected to get positions in 3-6 states.

Conrad Meghma’s NPP is emerging as the single largest party in Meghalaya. According to Ekjit Polls, there are reports of this party getting between 21 and 26 seats. The coalition government of the NPP is currently in power in Meghalaya, although the party has broken its alliance with the NPP in the 2023 assembly elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in an election rally before the assembly elections that the BJP broke the alliance with the NPP so that all the 60 assembly constituencies would fight for the elections and emerge stronger. BJP got only two seats in the 2018 elections, but this time it seems to be conveying its position in the range of 6 to 11. Mamta Banerjee’s TMC can get between 8 to 13 sites.
The Times Now-ETG Research exit poll has given 18-26 seats to the NPP and 8-14 seats to the Congress in Eteri. As per the exit poll predictions, BJP is predicted to win 3-6 seats while Congress can win 2-5 seats. There are reports of other strangers getting seats between 12 and 23. The India Today-Axis My India exit poll has predicted 18-24 seats for the NPP, 6-12 for the Congress, 4-8 for the BJP and 12-20 seats for the other party.
