Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is making headlines even before it hit the screens and remains in the headlines. While the film has failed to draw huge crowds in theatres, a video that went viral recently suggested otherwise. A social media user posted a video of a huge crowd gathering at a shopping mall to buy tickets for Aamir’s film. In the clip, people can be seen fighting for tickets in a packed mall. Along with the video, the user wrote, “Lucknow’s Lulu Mall throngs of people to watch the movie Lal Singh Chaddha.”

However, according to a news portal, this video is not related to ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ nor the mall to which it is mentioned. Apparently, the footage was taken at a promotional event for a Malayalam film in Kerala. And the internet suggests the same, take a look at this video from the previous incident.

Reportedly, a program of Malayalam film ‘Thallumala’ was canceled as a mall in Kozhikode district had witnessed huge crowd to attend it. Soon, scenes of crowded malls went viral on the internet. Due to the incident, there was a huge traffic jam outside the venue. The said program took place on August 10 while ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ was released in cinemas on August 11. It seems that the video of some other incident was allegedly used to create a stir about Aamir’s film.

‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is directed by Advait Chandan and stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya with Aamir in pivotal roles. This is a remake of the film Hollywood The movie ‘Forrest Gump’.
