Fake policemen duped Ajmer youth Rs 1 lakh, police started investigation Ajmer News – Times of India

Ajmer: Two fake policemen allegedly duped a youth of one lakh rupees in Kekdi on Monday. After registering the complaint, the Kekri police checked the CCTV footage of the area and found two suspects. It is still probing the matter.
According to the police, Ram Arora, a resident of Sarwar, works as a cash collection company in a private company and had gone to Kekri’s Lodha Chowk to collect money from a businessman on Monday.
On his way to the bus stop at Sarwar to deposit Rs 1.02 lakh, Arora was stopped at Junia Gate in Kekri by two men in plain clothes.
They told him that they are policemen and want to check his bag with money as they are looking for some suspects.
According to the complainant, when he protested, he showed her the police identity card.
They examined it and took out the polythene bag along with the money. When he told them about his collection, they returned the polybag. They left the spot. But after some time Arora was shocked to see the money missing from the bag at the bus stand.
Later, a case of cheating was registered against the fake policemen at Kekri Sadar police station.
