HONG KONG: A falling video screen struck and injured two dancers on the concert stage as cantopop band Mirror was performing in Hong Kong on Thursday night.
Video clips circulating on social media showed Mirror members Anson Low and Aidan Louie performing with a dozen dancers when one of several suspended LED screens crashed onto the stage.
The falling screen showed one dancer falling directly onto another performer before hitting him directly on the head and body as the audience screamed in horror. The video shows the rest of the actors on stage rushing to help those who hit the screen.
Police said the two male dancers were conscious when they were sent Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Local media reported that the hospital said one of the dancers was in critical condition while the other was in a stable condition.
Police said three bystanders were also taken to hospital, one was in critical condition and two others were in a state of shock, but did not require any medical treatment.
