There is a simple trick that iPhone users can use to silence their family member’s alarm.

Thankfully, if you live with your family and you all use Apple Devices, one way you can turn off anyone’s alarm with just your iPhone or iPad. The trick to doing this is easier than you think. let’s take a look:

So the next time you hear someone in your family’s alarm, just pick up your iPhone or iPad and tell Siri. Just say “Hey Siri, turn on the alarm [family member’s name] iPhone. For example, if your family member’s name is Anna, just say “Hey Siri, turn off the alarm on Anna’s iPhone.” Once you place the command, Siri will ask you to confirm if you want to stop the alarm going off on the other person’s phone, to which you can answer with “yes” or “no” or You can tap on the on-screen options.

However, this feature will only work if the user in your family also has an iPhone and is included in your Family Sharing group. They should be recognized in the Family Sharing group with the same name you use in the Siri request. Furthermore, it is also important to note that both the iPhones must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
