A seminar for actor-politician Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) booth committee was held at a private college in Saravanampatti in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. Many members and supporters of the TVK attended the event, including a well-known actor.
Fans were astonished by the unrecognisable appearance of the famous comedian Srinath. However, Srinath is more than just a comedian; he is also recognised as a director.
Notable Filmography And Collaboration With Vijay
Srinath began his film career at the same time as Vijay, making his debut as Vijay’s friend in the 1992 film Naalaiya Theerpu. He later appeared in Vijay’s 1996 film Maanbumigu Maanavan.
Srinath has acted in numerous other films, including 12b (2001), Aey Nee Rompa Azhaaga Irku (2002), Kadhal Virus (2002), Ullam Ketkumae (2005), Unnale Unnale (2007), Bheema (2008), and Dhaam Dhoom (2008). He played a significant role in Vijay’s Vettaikaran (2009).
Srinath received attention for his performances in Maasilamani (2009), Kutty (2010), and Uthama Puthiran (2010). His most recent acting role was in Let’s Get Married (2023) alongside Harish Kalyan.
In addition to acting, he directed the films Muthirai (2009) and Vallavanukku Pullum Ayudham (2014).
Srinath shares a close friendship with Vijay. They both studied at the same college, along with actor Sanjeev. Their friendship has remained strong since those early days.
