Final document verification of Karnataka PGCET 2022 will be held on January 17

KEA has extended the document verification deadline for the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the document verification deadline for its MBA, MCA, ME and MTech applicants appearing for the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2022). The initial dates for document verification were from January 3 to January 13, however, persons who missed this window will now be allowed to do so only on January 17 at the KEA, Bengaluru office. Till January 13, candidates had to appear for document verification based on their rank.

The official notification released by the Karnataka Examination Authority states, “PGCET 2022 MBA, MCA, ME, MTech candidates who have not attended the document verification due to various reasons can attend the document verification on 17th January only at KEA Bangalore office Huh. Candidates have to appear in the document verification at 9.30 am with all the required documents.

At the time of document verification, candidates are expected to bring the required original documents along with two passport size photographs and one set of photocopies, both gazetted and attested by an officer.

Karnataka PGCET 2022: Documents required

  1. Copy of Karnataka PGCET 2022 Final Application Form.
  2. Two passport size color photographs.
  3. Karnataka PGCET 2022 Hall Ticket.
  4. GATE Scorecard (for those applying through GATE).
  5. Marksheet/certificate of class 10th or equivalent examination.
  6. Marksheet/certificate of class 12th or equivalent examination.
  7. Mark sheets and certificates of all years/semesters during a degree.
  8. Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate.
  9. Income certificate for availing fee waiver
  10. Category Certification (if applicable)
  11. Work Experience Certificate (minimum 3 years, only if applicable)
  12. Study certificate or domicile certificate of parents.
  13. Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Reservation Certification (if claiming)
    Sponsorship Certificate (if any).

The exam body said that the PGCET 2022 document verification will take place at the following helpline centres: Bengaluru, Mysore, Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Shimoga, Mangalore, Bijapur, Dharwad and Devanagere.

Multiple PGCET 2022 ranking candidates were advised to visit the helpline center on the specified day after their highest ranking in any subject. He was not required to return for additional rankings in subsequent subjects.

Earlier, on December 1, 2022, KEA had released the provisional answer key of PGCET 2022, and applicants had time till December 10, 2022, to object to it. On December 29, the final results of PGCET 2022 were made public, followed by the document verification schedule.
