Fit India Quiz: Government announces free registration for 2 lakh school students

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced that the first 2 lakh students enrolled by 1 lakh schools can now be registered for free of cost nationwide. fit india quiz Each school can enroll up to 2 students for the quiz for free on a first cum first basis.

Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur announced this decision to increase the awareness of fitness and sports among school children. The Fit India Quiz has been launched as part of the Fit India Movement envisioned by the Prime Minister, which has been instrumental in creating mass awareness about the importance of leading a fit life. In order to motivate more and more students to participate in the Fit India Quiz, the participation fee of 2 lakh students of the first 1 lakh schools has been waived off”, said Mr. Thakur.

In the presence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Anurag Thakur launched the Fit India Quiz, the first ever nationwide quiz on sports and fitness, on 1st September. 3.25 crores as prize money with national round telecast on Star Sports.

The quiz will have representatives from each state/UT of the country and will be a mix of online and broadcast tours. The format has been designed in an inclusive manner, wherein school students across the country will get an opportunity to test their fitness and sports knowledge against their peers.

Fit India Quiz, the first ever fitness and sports quiz in India for school children has been made more attractive to school students across India.
