Five wild cat cubs were rescued after sugarcane farmers stumbled upon small cats while harvesting crops. IFS officer Parveen Kaswan posted the visual story of successfully rescuing 5 baby jungle cats on Twitter. All were so young that they could not live without their mother. So he was reunited with his mother with all the efforts of the Forest Department. The area was cordoned off. Where they were found, the villagers decided to stop harvesting for the time being. Camera traps were carefully placed in the area. Teams and villagers were stationed overnight near the place. So that the cubs can be monitored and there is no disturbance. There are more incidents of wild cat sightings during the harvest season as farmers go into the fields to cut long stalks of sugarcane. The season often coincides with the season of jungle cat cubs.
