Forest official asks Twitter to spot camouflaged animal in photo of tree

Everyone loves a good puzzle, especially when the challenge is to find something. These days, bureaucrats often share interesting pictures related to flora and fauna and test the intelligence of internet users by posting interesting challenges. One of them is Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, who keeps her followers engaged by regularly interacting with her followers and posting interesting facts about wildlife.

This time, he shared a veiled challenge for his followers. In the caption of the picture, he wrote, “Sitting on his throne at the edge of the forest.” Guess what.

In the picture, Mr Kaswan shared a picture of a tree and asked his followers to spot an animal within the frame. Most of the Twitter users and his followers guessed the name as a python while some said it is a viper. One user wrote, ‘Oh wow. Had to zoom in to see. So well camouflaged.

Another wrote, “Python..the one that has the ability to swallow a human being..as people say.” A little should be a lot.

The fourth one said, “What a beautiful picture.. Handsome man..! I guess everyone needs some sunshine..!

When one observes the picture closely, a dragon can be seen comfortably sitting on top of the tree, which is covered with green leaves. The IFS officer himself revealed the answer today, saying that the photo is actually of a Burmese python. 13 hours after posting the challenge, Kaswan wrote, “This is a Burmese python. The snake is native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia and is known for its climbing abilities. According to National GeographicBurmese pythons are carnivores, eating mostly small mammals and birds. But there are also some that have been found hunting larger food items such as pigs or goats.
