Former captain of Australia cricket team Michael Clarke was caught on camera in Noosa fighting with his partner Jed Yarbrough, The Sydney Morning Herald reported, In a video published by The Daily Telegraph, Clarke was seen having a huge altercation with Yarbrough, accusing him of allegedly cheating on her and even slapped her. TV presenter Karl Stefanovic – who is in a relationship with Yarbrough’s sister Jasmine – also appeared in the video trying to control the situation.

Yarbrough was seen hurling abuses at Clarke, while the former Australia captain denied cheating on him with his ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards. Eventually some people took him away from the situation.

“I am utterly disappointed that I have put people in this position whom I hold in the highest regard. My actions in the lead-up to this controversy were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” Clarke told the Telegraph.

“I am broken that because of my actions I have attracted women of class and integrity and my peers into this position… I own it completely and have only one fault,” he said.

GuardianIt was further reported that both Clarke and Yarbrough were fined by the authorities due to the incident after Queensland Police accused both parties of causing a public nuisance.

A police spokeswoman said, “No other crimes were discovered during the investigation.”

“No further information is available, and the investigation has been finalized.”

Clarke is currently part of the ICC’s broadcasting team for major global tournaments.
