Sharad Yadav was an important national voice of modesty in Parliament: President

President Draupadi Murmu condoled the demise of Sharad Yadav. He said- It is sad to know about the demise of former Union Minister Shri Sharad Yadav. The student leader of the seventies was an important national voice of the victorious people contesting for Democratic supremacy in Parliament. My deepest condolences to his family and fans.

Paying tribute to Sharad Yadav, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar described him as a popular leader and a skilled artist. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar tweeted, “Saddened by the untimely demise of former Union Minister and veteran MP Sharad Yadav. A popular leader and efficient watchman, he set high standards in public life. My deepest condolences to his family members and well wishers. om Shanti!”

Lalu paid tribute through video message
Lalu Prasad Yadav has paid tribute to Sharad Yadav through video message from Singapore hospital. Lalu said in the video, ‘I have become very alert after hearing the news of the death of Big Brother Sharad Yadav. I am very unwell and very hurt. Sharad Yadav, Chamak Singh Yadav, Aktrik Kumar, I along with all the other leaders do politics in the company of Jannayak Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Karpoori Thakur. Today I was very shocked by his sudden departure. He was a great socialist leader. He was forthright. I used to work with him occasionally. There are species, but not discrimination. He is no longer with us. May God give peace to his soul. My condolences to the bereaved families.

Om Birla, the speaker of the evening, expressed grief over the demise of Sharad Yadav and said, “Senior politician, former MP Sharad Yadav condoles the demise. He dedicated his life for them. His death is a great loss to the socialist movement. My condolences to the family.”

BJP leader in Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi tweeted, ‘Sharad Yadav was my political guardian. He had a big role in making me deputy. Bihar will never forget his contribution.

RJD leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Rambal Yadav has tweeted that he has condoled the death of Sharad Yadav. He said, “I am saddened by the news of the untimely demise of Mandal Messiah, senior RJD leader, great socialist leader and my guardian respected Sharad Yadav ji. I am unable to say anything. Had a conversation with mother and brother Shantanu. In this hour of grief, the entire Samajwadi Party is with the family.

Former RJD leader and currently BJP MP Ramkripal Yadav tweeted, ‘Shocked by the news of the demise of former Union Minister Shri Sharad Yadav. May God give peace to the divine soul and strength to the family members to bear the loss. Om Shanti.

Misa Bharti, elder daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, wrote, ‘Today the strong voice of socialism has definitely calmed down, but it will always remain alive in our memories as an inspiration! Tearful emotional tribute to respected Sharad Yadav ji.

Bihar leader Pappu Yadav paid tribute
Bihar leader Pappu Yadav tweeted, “The country’s veteran politician, warrior of socialism and social justice, Sharad Yadav is saddened to hear the news of his death. Irrespective of opinion in politics, he has always had a relation of affection. God is his soul.” Rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Subhashini ji and Shantanu ji.”

Sharad Yadav is a four-time MP from Madhepura seat in Bihar. Along with the President of Janata Dal United (JDU), he has also remained a minister at the Center. The health of the former minister was deteriorating and he was alleged to have been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram.

Fortis Hospital has issued a statement
The Fortis Memorial Research Institute has issued a statement saying that Sharad Yadav was brought in an unconscious and unresponsive state to Fortis in a state of possession. On examination he had no record or recordable blood pressure. CPR was done on him under ACLS protocol. Despite frantic efforts, he could not be saved and was declared brought dead at 10:19 pm.

A new party was formed by resigning from JDU in 2016.
Sharad Yadav had formed his party after resigning from JDU in the year 2016 and he formed a new party. After this he merged this party with Rashtriya Janata Dal. His daughter Subhashini is in Congress.
