Friend: Honor may launch its foldable Magic X phone in Q4 – Times of India

Respect It is rumored to release its first foldable phone before the end of Q4 this year and reportedly . will be similar to Huawei‘s Fellow X2. GizmoChina reports that the company is working on its first foldable phone codenamed Magic X and is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of this year.

Display analyst Ross Young had earlier claimed that Honor’s first foldable phone will come with a foldable panel provided by BOE and Visionox. Other reports claim that there will be an 8-inch internal foldable display and a 6.5-inch cover display.
First Honor CEO George Zhao revealed that his company is working on a foldable phone and he believes it will be the best in the industry. Seeing as how the Mate X2 is and how Honor isn’t limited by the restrictions imposed on Huawei, we wouldn’t be surprised if that was indeed the case.
Honor may also soon announce a new smartphone called the Honor X20 Max. It is expected to come with a massive 7.2-inch display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, Dimensity 1100 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging. For photography, it could feature a 64-megapixel + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit.
GizmoChina also reported that Huawei is working on a Mate V clamshell phone with a foldable screen that could also go official in Q4 this year. It will be available at a very low cost and is likely to be targeted towards a female audience. Additionally, the brand is also expected to announce the GT3 series and the Watch D lineup of smartwatches.
