G20: PM to visit Indonesia tomorrow; Rishi may hold bilateral meeting with Sunki

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Indonesia tomorrow (14 November 2022) for the G20 summit.

Indonesia will host a G20 leaders’ summit on Monday, bringing together the world’s most powerful figures on the resort island of Bali instead of the traffic-clogged capital Jakarta.

Seventeen world leaders – once Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the leaders of Mexico and Brazil – will seek solutions to myriad global crises on the Muslim-majority country’s Hindu “island of the gods”.

PM Modi will also participate on 17 G20 Summit Where he will formally take over the G20 presidency of India for 2023.

“PM Modi’s coming to the G20 is important as India is about to take over the G20 presidency from Indonesia, as far as Indonesia’s presidency is concerned, India has provided Indonesia’s continued help, and the Indonesian government also recognizes India’s cooperation. ,” said the Indian Ambassador to Indonesia.

The envoy said that the participation of the Prime Minister of India in this summit is also significant as he has launched the logo and website of the presidency.

The G20 logo launched by PM Modi takes inspiration from the vibrant colors of the national flag of India – saffron, white and green and blue. It connects the planet Earth with the lotus, which is the national flower of India, which signifies growth amidst challenges, said an official statement.

According to the official statement, Prithvi reflects India’s pro-planet approach to life, which is in complete harmony with nature. Below the G20 logo is “India”, written in the Devanagari script.

According to the official, “The theme of India’s G20 Presidency -“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth One Family One Future” is taken from the ancient Sanskrit text of the Maha Upanishad.

The theme highlights LiFE (Lifestyle for the Environment) with its associated, environmentally sustainable and responsible choices at the level of individual lifestyle as well as national development, resulting in transformative actions globally, resulting in The result is a cleaner, greener and bluer one.
