Gang steals lakhs from Telangana’s ATM, then throws cash on the road, here’s why

The robber didn’t stop, dumped the cash on the road and fled, police said. (agent)

Karimnagar (Telangana):

An ATM was burgled by a gang of four in Korutla town of Jagtial district in Telangana in the early hours of Sunday.

According to the police, the gang made away with the cash and the alarm was raised. Soon, a police patrol arrived at the scene and their vehicle rammed into the gang’s car.

Police said that even after this the robbers did not stop and fled after throwing the cash on the road. Jagtial Deputy Superintendent of Police R Prakash said that a total of Rs 19 lakh in notes were recovered. He said efforts are on to nab the gang.
