alia bhatt upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi The film, which will be released a little later than its scheduled time, will now open in theaters on February 18. Gangubai Kathiawadi Earlier it was scheduled to release on January 6 next year. Announcing the new release date on Monday, the makers of Gangubai Kathiawadi released a statement which read: “We are pleased to announce that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s” Gangubai Kathiawadi There is a new release date. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studio). The film will release on February 18, 2022.” The statement was shared by Alia Bhatt on her Instagram profile.

Gangubai Kathiawadi Alia Bhatt’s first film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She plays the lead role in the film which also stars Ajay Devgn. He plays a dacoit who eventually falls in love with Gangubai while she teaches him the tricks of the trade. The pair will also be seen together in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which will also be distributed by Penn Studio.
In an Instagram post earlier this year, Alia Bhatt summarized her experience working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. “This film and the set have been through two lockdowns… two cyclones… the director and the actors are getting covid while making!!! … being directed by Sir I dream for a lifetime, but I don’t think anything would have prepared me for the journey that I was on in these two years… I am on this set today I am a different person than you!
