The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, has extended the application correction facility for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates can now make changes to their GATE 2025 registration forms until November 20, through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The original deadline for making corrections was November 10.
Notably, only a few fields will be available for correction, and a fee will be applicable for making any changes. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categories will need to pay a fee of Rs 900 for any corrections, while those in other categories, as well as international students, must pay Rs 1,800.

How To Make Changes To GATE 2025 Application Forms?
Step 1: Navigate to the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, log in with your GATE 2025 User ID and Password.
Step 3: Next up, click on the correction window link.
Step 4: Make the necessary changes and review them carefully.
Step 5: Save it and deposit the fee.
Step 6: Submit the form and take a hard copy for future reference.
According to the schedule, the GATE 2025 exam will be administered on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 and the admit cards for the same will be issued in January 2025. The results are expected to be out on March 19, 2025.
GATE 2025 will include 30 papers, with candidates able to select one or two test papers from allowed combinations. GATE results will be valid for three years from the announcement date. The exam will be conducted in two shifts with a duration of 3 hours each.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination that assesses candidates for a comprehensive understanding of several undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Science. This year, it is being administered by IIT Roorkee.
