New Delhi: Giottus Cryptocurrency Exchange has launched two investment features for crypto investors and enthusiasts. The first is Basket, an expert-curated thematic investment feature that enhances an investor’s portfolio over the long run. The second is a Systematic Investment Planning (SIP) feature to automate and schedule regular purchases of popular crypto assets.
Investors will be able to start investing at least 100. Both products are designed to help investors expand their crypto portfolio with smart and safe investment options.
The basket is curated by experts and research analysts. Investors will be able to buy select crypto assets with a single click. These assets, conceptualized on the basis of the themes they represent, have immense potential for growth. Themes like DeFi, Metaverse, Gaming and Mem Coin are already popular among Indian investors. The basket has been specially designed to meet this demand.
DeFi refers to decentralized financial services built on top of a distributed blockchain network with no central intermediaries such as banks, custodians and exchanges. Examples of DeFi protocols include decentralized exchanges, decentralized lending and lending platforms, as well as stablecoins.
The metaverse refers to the convergence of physical, augmented and virtual reality in a shared online space.
A memecoin is usually a cryptocurrency tied to some theme, often as a joke rather than a serious product.
SIPs are a way to beat volatility in an emerging market like crypto. It helps in building a strong portfolio with optimized cost. Starting from Re 1 per purchase, investors can schedule their SIPs on the Giottus platform on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis.
