Congress MLA from Sangareddy Jayaprakash Reddy has urged BS Murthy, Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, to provide employment to local people who helped the government in setting up the institute.
He met Professor Murthy at the IIT-H campus on Sunday and handed over a memorandum to him.
“Prof. Murthy promised jobs to the local people. He also assured of coaching the youth and getting them placements. The youth would be hired on the basis of their education,” said Sri Reddy. He added that the children will be given admission in the schools located at IIT-H.
