Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education (GBSHSE) has released the term 1 datesheet for class 10, and 12 board exams 2023. The datesheet was announced today. As per the datesheet, the exams for both the classes will start from November 10. Students can check the date sheet on the official website gbshse.in.
First language exam Goa Board will start HSSC and SSC exam. Class 10 or SSC exam will end on November 29 and HSSC or class 12 first exam will end on November 23. As per the official notification, there will be 31 exam centers where the exam will be conducted. A total of 4 centers have been earmarked for the students coming through Urdu medium.
The examination for HSSC Sem 2 will start from March 1. NSQF practical exam will start from 1st February and practical exam will start from 7th February respectively. As per the notification, practical examinations for class 12 general and vocational streams will start from February 1, 2023 and practical examinations for NSQF subjects will start from February 7. The National Skill Development Council based in New Delhi will conduct the practical exam for NSQF subjects starting from March 3.
The board had earlier announced that it will follow the format of the previous year’s tests and will conduct the board exams during two semesters. The second session exam for class 10 will start from 1st April 2023 as per schedule. The practical examinations will start from March 1.
With a total of 18,869 students appearing in the SSC exams this year, the Goa Board secured an overall pass percentage of 92.75 percent over the previous year’s results. Class 12 board statistics show a pass rate of 92.66 percent. Of the 18,112 students who took and passed the exam, 16,783 did so. Of the 8861 boys who took the test, 90.66 percent passed, as compared to 9251 girls (94.58 percent) who passed.
