Goa Board HSSC Class 12 Result 2022: How to check online through SMS, Digilocker

Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) Class 12 Board Exam Result 2022 will declare today, May 21 at 5 PM. Once released, students will be able to check it on the official website gbshse.info. To check HSSC results students will need their admit card as it contains registration number. This year, a total of 18,201 students took the Goa HSSC exam, which includes 8,925 male and 9,276 female candidates.

To pass the exam, students have to score at least 33 marks or more. Failed candidates may be allowed to appear in the supplementary examination at a later date. Board chairman Bhagirath Shetty said the exam was conducted in 18 centers and 72 sub-centres in the state.

To check the score through SMS facility, Goa Board HSSC students can type Goa 12 seat number and send it to 56263 or 58888. The detailed marks subject-wise and total will be sent back to the students through SMS once released.

Step 1: Download Digilocker app on your phone from Google Playstore or Apple App Store. You can also visit the official website digilocker.gov.in.

Step 2: Sign up using your mobile number, name, date of birth, mobile number, email id and Aadhaar number

Step 3: Now, create a password and click on submit.

Step 4: Login using your required information

Step 5: Now, under ‘Education’ tab click on Goa Board

Step 6: Select the option of GBSHSE HSSC Exam Result 2022

Step 7: Enter your Aadhar card number and the result will appear on your screen.

After getting the Goa Board 12th result, students have to cross-check all the details on the marksheet including their name, parent’s name, score, subject name and application number. In case of discrepancy, students should immediately report to the school or board authorities.

The Goa Board Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or 12th examination was conducted in April this year. This time GBSHSE had divided the class 12 board examinations into two parts. HSSC 1st session exam was conducted from December 2021 to January 2022. The final result will consist of Term 1, Term 2 marks, as well as practical scores, after which the merit list will be released.

Last year, 99.40 per cent students cleared the HSSC exam. Out of the overall pass percentage, a total of 99.66 percent students passed in commerce stream, 99.68 percent in science and 99.51 percent in vocational stream. The results were declared on July 18, 2021 on the basis of alternate mode of evaluation as the examination could not be conducted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The board had followed the 30:30:40 methodology, giving 30 percent weightage to class 10 marks, 30 percent to class 11 marks and 40 percent weightage to internal assessment marks in class 12.
