Goa reports Covid death after 74 days. Goa News – Times of India

Panaji: After a gap of 74 days, Goa recorded one death on Monday, taking the death toll to 3,833.
The active caseload rose to 475 with 44 infections and 41 recoveries.
With 854 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, the case positivity stood at 5.15 per cent, having crossed the 7 per cent mark last week.
The recovery rate came down slightly to 98.25 percent. In the last 24 hours, two patients had to be hospitalised, while the rest were in home isolation.
The past three weeks have seen a surge in cases, but health experts are still unclear whether the increase will lead to another wave.
People have been advised to exercise caution.
The state has not seen an increase in the number of hospitalizations commensurate with the rise in infections.
