Gold dropped by ₹226; Silver Broken ₹462

In the international market, gold was flat at $ 1,747 an ounce and silver at $ 22.35 an ounce.

According to HDFC Securities, gold fell by Rs 226 to Rs 45,618 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday in line with fall in international prices of the precious metal.

In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at ₹45,844 per 10 grams.

Silver also fell by ₹462 to ₹59,341 per kg from ₹59,803 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was flat at $ 1,747 an ounce and silver at $ 22.35 an ounce.

“Gold prices were down 0.72% on Wednesday at $1,747 an ounce in line with spot gold prices at COMEX (New York-based commodity exchange).

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Gold prices declined amid a firming dollar and a rise in US bond yields.”
