Gold Price Today: In the two days of Dhanteras 2022, the sale of gold has jumped by more than 20 percent compared to last year. This year, there are no covid restrictions and people are in a better mood to shop. Gold prices rose by Rs 750 on 23 October and have remained largely around the same price since then. With it being Diwali today, the prices are likely to hover around Rs 48,000 per 10 grams in major cities.
In the national capital, 24 carat gold rose to Rs 50,510 per 10 grams, while 22 carat gold or ornamental gold rose to Rs 48,100 per 10 grams in the national capital. The price of 22 carat gold in Chennai is Rs 47,400 per 10 grams while the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 49,770 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow, the ornamental gold was priced at Rs 48,100 per 10 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 50,510 per 10 grams.
In Patna, 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 48,450 per 10 grams while 24 carat 99.9 per cent purity was priced at Rs 50,870 per 10 grams.
In Kolkata, ornamental gold was priced at Rs 48,450 per 10 grams, while gold of 99.5 per cent purity was priced at Rs 50,870 per 10 grams as of yesterday.
After increasing by Rs 750 on Friday in Bhopal, the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 47,880 per 10 grams. The price of 22 carat gold in Surat was Rs 48,160 per 10 grams.
In Trivandrum, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs 47,000 per 10 grams, while 24-karat gold was priced at Rs 49,350 per 10 grams.
In Kolhapur, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 47,880 while the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 50,270 per 10 grams.
