According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 112 to Rs 47,050 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday on a correction in international precious metal prices.
The precious metal had closed at ₹ 46,938 per 10 grams in the previous trade.
In contrast, silver fell by ₹ 203 to ₹ 63,767 per kg from ₹ 63,970 per kg in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading flat at $ 1,803 an ounce and silver at $ 24.12 an ounce.
HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Low US bond yields and mixed global cues have led to a correction in gold prices from the previous losses.”
