Jammu : Increase in minimum wages of daily wage laborers including daily wage laborers in Jammu and Kashmir region from 225 300 per day. The Jammu and Kashmir administration said that this hike will be implemented in all government departments.

Officials said the process of notifying minimum wages by the Labor and Employment Department would take at least three months, hence the decision on interim measures was taken to benefit daily wage earners of all government departments and municipalities and local bodies.
