Google has told a tribunal in India that the probe’s allegations against the country copied parts of a European ruling against the US firm for abusing its dominance of its video operating system. Google has appealed to set aside the CCI order by showing legal documents. The matter will be heard in the tribunal on Wednesday.

Google said in a statement that it has decided to appeal against the CCI decision as it believes “it is a huge blow to our Indian consumers and business”. The CCI and the European Commission are yet to respond to the matter.

Google is constantly surrounded by questions. Apart from India, the company is also facing fraud in Europe, America and South Korea. In Europe, it is alleged that the company is promoting Google Shopping. There is an allegation of giving priority to your app and ending competition in online ads. At the same time, in the US, the company is accused of spreading status and giving priority to Google Pay service. In these cases, the company has been fined billions of dollars.
