Google may launch its own Pixel Buds Pro version of true wireless earbuds this year, which will take on the likes of AirPods Pro and Galaxy Buds Pro in the market. Google is slowly but surely upgrading its device catalog, and the Pro version of wireless earbuds is ideal for the company to find the brand attractive to more consumers.

Google has hinted that it may have more than one hardware product to showcase at next week’s Google I/O 2022 keynote, so could the Pixel Buds Pro also be part of the company’s lineup? We certainly can’t rule out that possibility right now, and judging by the timing of this tweet, it’s possible that Google may have this true wireless earbud launching soon.
Traditionally, Pixel Audio has been launched with Gear smartphones, so Google may actually wait until the Pixel 7 series is out later this year.
The regular Pixel Buds don’t have many features, the most notable being Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Hence, the Pro version can bring people to the table, giving them options beyond the AirPods Pro and Galaxy Buds Pro. Also, the Pixel Buds Pro is expected to get a new design for better comfort and audio quality.

Since the Pixel Buds Pro will be expensive, we are expecting Google to bring some level of IP rating to the device for added durability and water resistance. And it all needs to be well complemented by a big battery unit so you don’t run out of juice in between.
With all this in mind and other handy options in mind, the Google Pixel Buds Pro could cost anywhere between $200 (roughly Rs.15,100) or maybe a little more.
