Google hasn’t been very thoughtful with its next-generation Google Pixel flagships. The company had fully revealed the design of the new smartphone last month and also announced that the phone will be powered by the new Tensor chipset.
The prices of the Google Pixel 6 Pro and Google Pixel 6 are the only remaining mystery. However, the pricing of the devices has leaked ahead of the official launch in October. Considering that Google is going all out with new Pixel devices, the company should see the prices increase significantly compared to last year’s flagship device. However, a new report suggests something else.
According to a report by 9to5 Google, the European prices of the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro have been leaked.
The price of Google Pixel 6 variant has been kept at €649 (approx.) ₹56,200), while a variant of the Pixel 6 Pro is priced at €899 (approx. ₹77,800). Taking into account last year’s prices in Europe, the Pixel 6 could start at €649. Last year, the device cost €629 (approx.) ₹54,400).
The Google Pixel launch event is yet to be finalized, so readers should take the information with a grain of salt. The launch event is expected to take place on October 19, while the devices may go on sale in various markets from October 28.
