Government approves non-jumming of students in Inter practical examination

The government has allowed for non-jumbling of students for the practical examinations of Intermediate to be held in March 2022.

In a statement on Tuesday, Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), MV Seshagiri Babu directed the principals of government, aided and private junior colleges and degree colleges to offer the two-year intermediate course so that adequate laboratory equipment and Ensure that equipment is in good condition and inspected. The guidelines regarding dimensions of laboratory hall, furniture for all science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology without any deviation are prescribed in the BIE Handbook.

He said that the colleges which fail to adhere to the prescribed standards will face strict action, and clarified that they should keep the laboratories ready for inspection by the concerned authorities.

He said that the norms regarding maintenance of science laboratories are extremely important in view of the non-jumbling system of practical examinations.
