Tokyo: A Japani A government panel tasked with tackling rising prices and wage issues will meet on Friday and consider additional policy measures, Prime Minister Fumio kishida Said on Sunday.
Talking to reporters in the North JapanK Niigata Prefecture, Kishida Said government Subsidies for regional revitalization should be considered to be reviewed and increased so that they can be used to effectively respond to rising prices.
“I want to compile additional measures and implement them without hesitation,” he said, adding that he recognized the importance of offering support that matches the needs of local communities.
Kishida has made addressing the impact of rising energy, food and raw material prices a top priority on businesses and consumers, directing his government last month to formulate new policy measures.
