Govinda, whose chemistry with Satish Kaushik became famous in comedy films of the 90s and early 2000s, remembered the actor-filmmaker, who passed away at 66. The films in which she has worked with the veteran actor. He wrote, “A friend… An artist… A companion… How can I express my sadness. We will always miss you… So sad. Gone too soon. RIP.”

Govinda and Satish worked in many films like ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’, ‘Deewana Mastana’, ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’, ‘Pardesi Babu’, ‘Aunty No. 1’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Kyo Ki..’ Have done I do not lie’ and others.

Bollywood actor remembered the late actor-director as the ‘best landlord’ during his struggling days. He shared a picture of himself in a printed shirt and denims and described him as a great human being who helped him in his initial years of struggle and always guided him. Along with it, he shared a post on Instagram, which read, “A great actor, a great human being and the best landlord I had during my struggling days in the city. Satish Kaushik passed away

The sudden demise of Satish Kaushik sent shockwaves across the film industry. The actor and filmmaker was in Delhi when he suffered a heart attack while traveling in a car. His body was brought to Mumbai on 9 March. The last rites were performed at the Versova cremation ground. Anupam KherJaved Akhtar Sham Kaushal, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bacchan And Ranbir Kapoor Bollywood celebs were among those who visited Kaushik’s Mumbai residence to pay their last respects to the late actor.

Satish Kaushik was 66 and is now survived by his wife Shahi Kaushik and their 10-year-old daughter Vanshika. He was one of the finest actors of Bollywood who played some memorable characters like Manu Manek Mundra and Advocate Sadhuram. He was born on 13th April, 1956 and was an actor, director, producer, comedian and screenwriter. He was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India.

Over the years, Satish established himself as one of the most sought-after character actors in Bollywood, often playing supporting roles connected to the plot. He was also known for his work as a writer and director, having directed films like ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’.
