Govt to start first COVID vaccination camp for children of sex workers

The Delhi government will organize its first camp for immunization of children of sex workers near GB Road here on Wednesday.

According to government sources, around 70 to 100 children are expected to be covered on Wednesday, after which more children will be vaccinated.

Sources said the camp will also serve as a means to cover adults – the remaining 10% eligible for a second dose – on Wednesday and in the days to come.

Apart from giving the vaccine to children living in welfare and de-addiction homes, the Central District Railway is distributing rations since the first wave of COVID-19 with the support of NGOs including Children India, Center for Holistic Development, IMDT, Katakatha and others. Other NGOs.
