Gujarat elections: Kejriwal will go to Kutch today, will attend town hall meeting

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be on a one-day visit to Gujarat on Tuesday and attend a town hall meeting at Bhuj in Kutch district, a party leader said.

This month will be the fourth visit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener to Gujarat, where assembly elections are due later this year. Kejriwal will address a press conference and town hall event in Bhuj.

He will make some important announcements for the people of the state. He will also hold a meeting with party leaders regarding the upcoming elections. AAP Gujarat General Secretary Manoj Sorathiya said in a video message on Monday.

On August 1, Kejriwal addressed a huge gathering at Veraval in Gir Somnath district and offered prayers at a temple in Rajkot. promised to give 3,000 as unemployment allowance and said 10 lakh jobs would be created in five years if AAP comes to power in BJP ruled Gujarat.

On 6 and 7 August they visited jamnagar and Bodeli in the tribal-dominated Chhota Udaipur district. Apart from concessions for the business community, he promised that if his party wins in the state, it will implement the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution and the Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act (PESA) for the protection and upliftment of tribals.

on 10 August, Kejrival Visited Ahmedabad and promised assistance 1,000 per month as dearness relief to every woman in the state.
