After heavy rains in Kheda district of Gujarat on July 11, a flood-like situation has arisen in various areas of Nadiad. The city has received 30 per cent rain in the last three days. More than 700 people were evacuated to safer places amid flood-like situation. More than 2,000 villages in northern Gujarat have been affected by the floods.
