Gurukiran presented the Rangachavadi Award

Mr. Gurukiran said that having grown up with Rangachavadi, he will always cherish this award.

Music director Gurukiran said that out of all the honors and awards, those who come from their hometowns are priceless and he feels blessed to receive them.

He was speaking after receiving the Rangachavadi 2021 award from Rangachavadi Mangaluru at Surathkal near here on Saturday.

Mr. Gurukiran said that having grown up with Rangachavadi, he will always cherish this award.

Founder Chairman of MRG Group K. Prakash Shetty inaugurated the Rangachavadi annual festival. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded Rangachavadi for nurturing theater and allied arts for the last 22 years and recognizing people who have contributed to the arts and culture.

Starting his career from Tulunadu, Sri Gurukiran has expanded his reach for music across the globe, complemented by Mr Shetty. He wished that Rangachwadi would recognize more and more talent in the days to come. Shree Shetty also lauded the organization for organizing a musical tribute to late actor Puneet Rajkumar and recalled his association with the late actor.

Mangaluru city police commissioner N. Shashi Kumar said that he was overwhelmed by the gesture of the coastal people in assisting and assisting the police force in maintaining law and order. He said that his love for art and culture is commendable.
