Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday claimed that if the BJP had worked properly in Himachal Pradesh, the need to change the chief minister would not have been felt. Moreover, its leaders do not have to fall at the feet of any “tainted worker” of AAP, he said. People trust you. We will give an honest and patriotic government in Himachal Pradesh,” Mr Kejriwal said. Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia said the BJP was “intimidated” by Mr Kejriwal and its leaders had reached Himachal Pradesh to induct a person whom the AAP was about to drop for his dubious character. “Last night, at 12 o’clock, BJP national president JP Nadda, and cabinet minister and future Himachal CM candidate Anurag Thakur held a press conference hastily to announce the induction of an AAP worker into their party, who was going Was to be removed from our party,” Mr Sisodia said. He said he has “clear evidence” of AAP worker’s unfair treatment towards women and the party has received several complaints of harassment against him. Mr Sisodia said that the sole purpose of the emergency press conference by the BJP was to talk about Mr Kejriwal and create a narrative against AAP.
