Indian Business Magnet Harsh Goenka Recently did a tweet with the infamous hashtag ‘#AbbaJaan’ but his intentions were far from political. The chairman of RPG Enterprises was indeed sharing his joy at the reports of a great name returning to the music industry later this year.
Goenka’s tweet was about the reunion of revered pop music group ABBA, who have announced that they will be back for an album to be released in November.
“I grew up listening to pop group Abba and now the good news is that they have reunited after 40 years for a new album ‘Voyage’. My #AbbaJaan,” tweeted Goenka.
Swedish pop group ABBA, named after its members Annie-Frid Lingstad, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog, announced earlier this month that they would release new music for the first time in four decades.
The quartet behind hits like “Dancing Queen” and “Mamma Mia” will release their new album “Voyage” on November 5. It is the follow-up to 1981’s ‘The Visitors’, the last album by the pop group before it was released. a break.
A virtual version of the band will begin a series of concerts in London on 27 May. The group is producing live shows with George Lucas’ special effects company, Industrial Light & Magic.
ABBA has also launched a website titled “ABBA Voyage” teasing the new announcement.
ABBA was formed over 50 years ago and for most of its existence consisted of two married couples. Their music has remained ubiquitous in the decades following their breakup, partly from the stage musical “Mamma Mia!” And then it’s due to two movies starring Meryl Streep. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
