Prayagraj: A 46-year-old head constable posted in Unchahar was killed and another bike rider was injured in a head-on collision of two bikes in Shivgarh area of Soraon police station area across the Ganges on Sunday. The deceased head constable has been identified as Baijnath Yadav was a resident of Rampur Kothari Village (Bahria) while the injured youth has been identified as Nanka, a resident of Nanka. Dhampuri Was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Inspector (Saraw) Ashok Kumar “The slain head constable who was posted on 112 vehicle at Unchahar Kotwali in Rae Bareli district was going on a bike when his bike collided with another bike near Shivgarh area,” he told TOI. “The head constable died on the spot, while another bike rider was taken to CHC Soraon for treatment,” he said.
